I may earn money or products from the links or companies mentioned in this post, no worries, no spamming or advertisement overload, simply helps me keep my blog up and running!
Have an image you want to upload or maybe you just received my file for an email signature and the place you are trying to upload it to requires the html format: <img src=”URL“>
How do you get that “URL” to put in the code? There are a few ways, the first most easy way is if you already have WordPress, to upload your photo to your media library:
Once you upload the file from your computer, select edit and then you will see to the right the URL for your photo. This is the URL you will add to the the code <img src=”URL“> (replacing only the URL leaving the ” ” in place)
If you don’t have WordPress, you can use a site like Tiny Pic to upload and get the link.
leave your size the default size, unless you need to resize it for something else.
Once you upload the image it will give you a list of different formats. If you just need the URL part of the <img src=” “> you can use the direct link to add between the quotations. However, you can use the HTML if you don’t require the other code. Just copy and paste the entire thing into where it is asking for html code.
